サールーの語源、猿回し

なぜ「猿回し」と言う表現があるのでしょうか。
「猿」の沖縄方言は 「sahru＝サールー」です。
「猿回し」は同義語の並列と推測さます。即ち
「猿＝サールー＝saha'ru＝回す、回し」です。
