蝉の語源、一番喧しく鳴き何処でも聞ける

夏の間に良く聞く鳴き声、朝から
けたたましく鳴く虫は、「semi＝蝉」
でしょう。 「蝉」もアッカド語由来
の言葉のようです。アッカド語では
「shamu＝shemu＝shemi＝シェミ」
と変化するようです。
