梅の語源、中に大きな種がある

「u-me＝梅」の語源は「実の中にある」
大きな「核、種」と推測されます。地上に
出来た「mi＝ミ＝穴」「の中に」は「mu
＝水」が溜ります。実「の中」には必ず
「種」があります。その種が他の植物に
比べて「大きくて目立つ」木の「実と種」
の様子を見て名付けた木の名前が「u-me
＝梅」と推測されます。もう一つの見方は
「一つの枝に沢山の実が生る」木なので梅
と名付けたと考えられます。
