ミー・ニシの語源、今年初めての寒い風が吹く変り目

　ミー・ニシの「nis＝nis-i＝ニシ」を「北」と
解釈するのは間違いでしょう。 ニサンガ・チ
に含まれている「nis＝nis-a＝ニサ」が「新しい
年の初め」表す言葉を知っていたのに、「寒く
なる風が、吹き初めの変り目」を表す沖縄方言
の「ミーニシ＝北風」が、「新たに吹き初めた
冷たい風、季節の変り目」に気づいていません
でした。人々に今から「寒くなる季節が始まる」
と「知らせる、告げる」風が、「新しい＝ミー」
「ニシ＝nis-i＝告げる」事だと分かります。
